Young Scholar Workshops

Four to six papers will be presented daily on open themes, chosen on the basis of the students’ field of research, related to the history of economic thought, economic philosophy or economic history. The subjects of the papers may differ from the Summer School’s main theme. The presentations will take place in the presence of the members of the scientific committee. Each contribution will be commented upon by a discussant, chosen among the young scholars and the audience.

Contributions will be selected from extended abstracts of 750 to 1000 words, or full-paper proposals of up to 7500 words (in English or French). The submission deadline is April 30, 2011. By the end of May 2011, the Scientific Committee will inform the applicants about the outcome of the selection process.
